About The Author

Lily Pickart

Lily Pickart

Lily Pickart is an artist, writer, and poet based in Milwaukee, WI. A recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee’s Honors College with a Creative Writing major and a Studio Art minor, she loves to create art and written work that explore humanity, specifically relating to feminism, racial justice and equity, and LGBT+ identities. With a background in traditional art and a newfound passion for graphic design, Lily hopes her illustrations, as well as her writing, can be a source of joy and hope for those that view them.
